The surprisingly fine, dense ruby-colored 2001 Merlot Estate exhibits a sweet nose of chocolatey black cherries, herbs, mocha, red as well as black fruits and subtle oak. This is a tasty, complex Merlot for drinking now and over the next 4-5 years.
