The 2006 Furth boasts an inky/purple color as well as a big, sweet bouquet of blackberry liqueur, licorice, and charcoal. With sweet tannins, medium to full body, but not quite the complexity and elegance of the Estate cuvee, the big, bold Furth is clearly meant to be more concentrated. Anticipated maturity: now-2025.
